Role Overview
As the Director of Nursing (DON), you will lead clinical operations while helping pioneer the future of pediatric home healthcare in Florida. This role blends clinical leadership, innovation, and hands-on patient care. You will develop care programs, elevate nursing practice, and directly shape how we serve families as we expand into new regions and specialties.Key Responsibilities
Build and lead transformative caregiver training programs, including practical education modules and real-world readiness tools
Supervise and mentor RNs, setting a high bar for clinical quality, consistency, and compliance
Perform patient assessments and oversee care plans, updates, and outcomes for medically complex pediatric patients
Partner cross-functionally with operations, product, and tech to streamline workflows and improve the family experience
Help expand services and specialties, ensuring our programs remain reliable, compliant, and industry-leading
Work Arrangement
Full-time, hybrid (WFH plus onsite as needed)
Based in Florida, preferably Miami-Dade or Broward
Periodic in-state travel may be required
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $95,000 to $110,000 per year

Qualifications
Director of Nursing (DON) experience is required.
Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Florida.
Experience: Minimum of three years in nursing, with at least two years in home health services. Pediatric and medically complex child experience is a bonus.
Home Health Administrative Expertise: Proven ability in managing home health operations, including regulatory compliance, patient coordination, and team supervision.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management experience, with a track record of building high-performance clinical teams.
Valid Driver’s License: Required. This role may require periodic travel within Florida for onsite support, caregiver training, and operational needs.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient with email, internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), practice management, and electronic health record (EHR) software.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with families, staff, and partners, providing clear and compassionate communication.
Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
Residency: Must reside in Florida, preferably in the Miami-Dade or Broward area.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (WFH + onsite as needed).
