To qualify, you must be at least 18 years old, and a family member or legal guardian (e.g., parent, grandparent) of a child who is medically fragile and eligible for skilled nursing under Florida Medicaid. We'll confirm your child's status and help you navigate the application and training process from start to finish.

To qualify for the FHHA program, children must be under 21 years old and be eligible for skilled nursing and have Medicaid. If you're unsure about your child's status, we can guide you through the assessment process.

The training program is completely free for family caregivers. Our 76-hour online course covers all the essentials — basic medical care, emergency procedures, and equipment usage. With flexible pacing, most participants finish in under two weeks.

Caregivers can typically provide up to 40 hours per week. However, exact limits may vary depending on your care plan and Medicaid's approvals.
